Traffic Speeding Citation - The Legal Consequences Of Going Too Swiftly

I have never received a traffic speeding citation, though I can not say I should not have. My husband tells me that I've got to go slower, and I do for the most part, but when I get on the interstate I have an issue staying inside the speed limit. I'm not one of those who goes ninety and zips in and out of traffic simply because my car can, but I do tend to go seventy or seventy-five. I do go slower when my little girl is in the car, but for some or another reason I just can't seem to go slower when I am on my own in the car.

I am aware that I will probably end up receiving a traffic speeding ticket someday, and I do know I've been lucky this far. I am not nearly as bad as many people that I know, and I can not imagine that I'm in the minority. There are lots of people who refuse to go slower, and they are the types that rarely seem to receive the traffic tickets. It appears like the people that commonly follow the speed limit are the ones that get caught the only time they decide to go a bit quicker.

My husband has never received a traffic speeding ticket either, but I think that is just good fortune as well. He is not quite as bad as I am, but he does go too fast at times. Those occasions don't typically occur when our little girl is in the vehicle, so perhaps she has helped the both of us to stay away from getting a traffic speeding citation. Though we ought to be concerned about ourselves for her sake, having her in the motor vehicle is a very visible reminder to go slower.

When you get a traffic speeding ticket, you should know that it'll add points to your driver's license, and your insurance may go up. You can fight the citation, but you had better have a good reason for your speeding. There are instances when an officer will not issue you a ticket, but they will give you a warning. It depends on the scenario and how quickly you were going as opposed to everybody else on the street. If you are going incredibly fast, you might find yourself with a whole brand-new set of difficulties. You may get a citation for reckless driving, and that is much worse for your driver's license and your wallet.
